Situated in Spencer Dock on the banks of the River Liffey, The CCD is at the heart of the city centre, only a few minutes walk from O'Connell Street. The building was designed by Pritzker Award-winning, Irish born architect, Kevin Roche who said his aim was to create a legacy building which would be as iconic as the Four Courts and the Custom House.

Accessible

The centre is accessible by road, rail and sea. It is ideally situated near Dublin Port Tunnel for easy access to Dublin Airport (in approximately 20 minutes). It is located on the new Luas Red Line extension and is only minutes from Dublin Ferry Port. There are 10,000 hotel bedrooms within 5km of the centre, many within walking distance. Accessibility will be further enhanced by the opening of the Samuel Beckett Bridge, just steps from The CCD, offering easy access to the south side of Dublin.

A Flexible, State-of-the-Art Venue

As a world-class convention centre, The CCD is configured to accommodate conferences from 8 to 8,000 participants. Its range of extremely versatile and multi -purpose meeting spaces can be tailored to suit the customer's requirements. It includes 22 purpose-built meeting rooms, a 2,000-seat auditorium, 4,500 square metres of exhibition space and banqueting facilities for up to 2,000 guests. Designed to leverage the latest technology, its halls and meeting rooms are Wi-Fi enabled and have the most advanced audio-visual equipment and lighting systems to enhance any event.

Conferences and Banqueting

The CCD is set to become Ireland's premier venue for conferences and banqueting events. This unique facility offers a range of meeting room sizes to facilitate conferences, AGMs, training sessions and seminars. It also offers banqueting facilities for up to 2,000 guests in a range of halls designed to accommodate every event, from gala dinners and award ceremonies, to Christmas parties and charity balls.
