Round Up: British retail sales fall at sharp pace

British retail sales fell at their sharpest pace in over a year in January as cold and icy weather sent household-goods sales tumbling at the fastest pace in more than two decades, official figures showed. The Office for National Statistics said sales volumes, based on a new methodology that includes automotive fuel, fell 1.8% on the month in January.
