Round Up: Ladbrokes reports full year profit slump

The UK's biggest bookmaker Ladbrokes reported a slump in full-year pre-tax profits, hit by the recession and football results that went against the company. It warned that 2010 would be equally tough. The company which has more than 2,700 betting shops, said 2009 pre-tax profits fell by 28% to £191.3m. Market expectations had ranged between £109m and £242m.
