10th December 2009 Kerry Group was recipient of the Company of the Year Award at the Annual Business & Finance Awards. Neville Isdell, former Chairman & CEO of The Coca-Cola Company and Jim O’Hara, General Manager of Intel Ireland were also recipients of awards at the Gala event held in O’Reilly Hall, UCD. Golden Spider Awards

The winners of the 2009 eircom Golden Spider Awards were unveiled last night at a gala black-tie event in Dublin’s Burlington Hotel, hosted by comedian Risteard Cooper. Colm Lyon was voted 2009 Internet Hero and the prestigious eircom Grand Prix Award was won by Muzu.tv. Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan opened IFSS 2009 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin and was followed by speakers such as Professor Nouriel Roubini of New York University, Professor Willem Buiter of the London School of Economics, Martin Wolf , associate editor and chief economics commentator at the Financial Times, and Timothy P.
